MEASURE and monitor claims and work with your insurance partners to see which stores are improving
COMMUNICATE results to everyone – Which store is having issues, which store is doing the best, etc. Weekly and Monthly communications.
CELEBRATE successes – Good work that gets noticed, gets repeated
FUN ACTIVITY
Have the GM approach each manager on different shifts to perform the following:
1.) Stop and just WATCH the crew/workers during a shift for 15 minutes making notes of everything not safe. Walk around the entire restaurant.
2.) Review the results with the GM
3.) SPEND the next 15 minutes after that trying to help people be safer and correct the actions observed.
TRAIN THOSE NEWLY PROMOTED
NEWLY PROMOTED should be safety trained for at least 30 minutes
